Our gorgeous debutante Ms. Glezlie Ong. One of Chinatown’s pride and beauty. She won Ms. Chinatown 2014 Social media darling. Blessed with beauty and brains she surely grabbed the crowd’s attention. It is with pleasure to have done her dream look on her big day and her pre debut shoot. Having done the wedding and debuts of her eldest sister’s wedding and 2 older sisters we have been blessed to have such loyal and happy clients.
For her pre debut photoshoot we did 4 looks for her. We started of with a natural look to naturally bring out her beauty and natural glow. Young and vibrant as she is we brought out her innate beauty with neutral tones of eye shadow and soft pink lips that matches her natural liptone.
On her 2nd look we used a pop of pink lips to match her floral wreath headpiece to bring out the femininity of this layout.
Her last lay out is more edgy highlighting more of her personality. We used a deep plum lipstick and straightened her hair for a more editorial feel.
Young, Vibrant, Feminine ,Confident and Edgy
Epitomizes the true beauty of girl turning into a woman.
Thank you for making Nybie Ng Make Up Artistry part of it.
We are blessed.

I was ecstatic when Anna, our bride got in touched with us for her bridal make up. She is one of the prettiest faces in our batch which made me feel blessed that she gave her trust to us to do her bridal make up on her big day. Anna gave us her concern that she tends to become acidic when make up is applied on her. The application tends to darken or change in color. It has been her problem eversince. ( Acidity happens when there is a decrease in the skin’s pH. There is no exact etiology on how this happens or what causes this). As a make up artist we carefully mix and match the foundation 1-2 tones lighter than her skin tone so that when the acidity reacts we still can achieve the natural, fresh and radiant glow that she wants for her day. As a make up artist it is very important for me that my bride is very confident on her look on her wedding day. As every bride glows on her big day Anna’s beauty radiates and reminds me of a Disney Princess. Happiness and love were beaming from Anna. Here’s the bridal make up look that our glam team made for Anna on her special day.
Congratulations and Best wishes Yuji and Anna!
It was an honor to be selected to do the hair and make up for the latest music video one of the our country’s pride when it comes OPM (original pinoy music). I was so giddy like a school girl when I received a text from the stylist, Tippy Sy. That I was chosen to do make up for a music video shoot and later to find out that it was my favorite local band.
It was truly a blessing for me. The shoot was on the same day and the last day of my bridal fair at the Before I Do bridal fair at SM Megamall. I was thinking how I will manage both. I decided to leave the bridal fair to my ever supportive boyfriend, family and my superhairstylist. They never did let me down.
God’s grace is unending. He blessed us to hit number 1 spot in the Pinoy MYX countdown after its release. It was truly an experience to have worked with wonderful and talented people in the industry.

For the peg of the music video the creative team wanted the shoot to be all black and white. They will be playing with lights and dolly movements of the subjects.
The make up inspiration was Twiggy with a modern twist. They also noted that the make up to be very particular with the small details since it will be shot in High Definition and Black and white.
(Funny Armi, sad daw dapat pag before pic LOL 😉 )
For Armi’s hair. It was done in a sleek hairstyle.
The make up done is also more contoured on the eyes and darker on colored version. To achieve its sophisticated look on black and white.
I also used double lashes and lashes on the lower lash line to make the eyes more dramatic. The lower waterline i line with matte white liner to achieve a more pronounced eyes when shot in monochrome.
Here are some of the behind the scenes photos is took during our shoot :

To God be the glory
What is a Bridal Fair?
A bridal fair is a convention of suppliers in the wedding industry to highlight their services offered. It is also a way to get to know the supplier more and get to interact with them. This event helps the soon-to-be married couple in choosing the perfect team who will handle their once in a lifetime moment in a location more convenient and reachable by them.
Reasons to attend a bridal fair?
It is an exceptionally daunting and tiring task for couple to go from north to south just to canvas for their respective suppliers with a plethora of choices also given to them. The bridal fair will give the couple the convenience and the comfort of bringing them all the suppliers they would be needing one event and in one location. Kinda Nifty eh? 🙂
Bridal fairs also offer extensive promos and discounts for the marrying couple from the suppliers in the event who would come and visit the event. Who wouldn’t want discounts and to save money.
FREEBIES. actually it says it all. haha yup! FREE stuff. Fun games, Raffles and prices await you and your love. There will be FREE trial session for make up for brides. Yey! 🙂
It is also a great way to conceptualize and plan what kind of wedding do you want to achieve. Ideas and inspiration can come aslo from going to bridal fairs.
