TIPS: Make up for Rosy complexion

Complexion: Rosy

A lot of women now-a-days prefer to belong in this skin tone type. With all the buzz with the media, how-to’s and help of science this complexion type is racing itself in the market. Rosy beauties are blessed with natural rosy, white glow. They have lesser melanin level which protects the skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Investing in a good tinted moisturizer with high SPF is recommended. Sheer or light coverage will give you that natural finish which will not over cover the face natural glow.

EYES:  Any color will do from matte to shimmer. They are lucky to be very versatile in terms of mix and matching colors for make-up choices.  The shimmer shades opens the eyes and highlights it. Try adding pearlized white shade on the inner corner of the eyes.

CHEEKS: Light pink tones on the apples of the cheeks are preferable to achieve the bridal blush.

LIPS: any color will do but I suggest having fun with a little hint of pink-purplish undertones. You can have fun playing with colors!:)

TIPS: Make up for Porcelain Complexion

Complexion:  Porcelain

Most women in Asia are blessed with Porcelain skin, or as we all know the “kutis porcelana”.  This skin complexion type is always gorgeous, youthful and flawless. This skin tone type has an undertone that ranges from pink to yellow to gold. Some examples of these skin tone mixtures are; Yellowish skin tones are often from Chinese and Japanese ethnicity.  Pinkish to yellow tones are common in Koreans.  Filipina’s can also be classified under this skin tone commonly ranging from the three of the said undertones, Pinkish to yellowish to golden.

BROWS:  The eye brows define the eyes. Avoid excessive plucking of the eyebrows causing it to appear as one thin line.  The thicker and more defined the eyebrows are the more they give a youthful appearance.

EYES:  Porcelain skin is often matched with dramatic almond-shaped eyes.  Highlighting the corner of the lids with a darker neutral shade gives more depth to the eyes.  Ideal eye shadow colors are gray to neutral shade with a little shimmer of bronze or gold highlights.

CHEEKS: Peach and pinkish blush will help highlight the cheeks sweep on the apples of the cheek to add color the apples of the cheeks.  A little bronzer by the hollow of the cheek gives a more dramatic finish to the look.

LIPS:  a little color can go a long way. Shades of pink rose and watermelon with a little gloss can give you that sweet little smile.

TIPS:Make up for Morena Complexion

Complexion:Morena

Very little make up is needed for rich cocoa complexion with golden under tones. Moisturizing and setting the face with a good primer can enhance the skin’s natural golden glow. Matte foundation is recommended with subtle hues of golden honey, peach and bronze to highlight its natural beauty.

BROWS: always match the brow color with the hair color. Defined arch eyebrows gives the face more detail to a natural make up daily look. Ideally the brow color is one –tone lighter than the hair color (one helpful tip!)

EYES: Browns, copper, and shades of peach add depth and glamour on a chocolate toned skin. It helps bring out the eyes not looking to be trying too much. Define the eyes by lining the water line with black eye-liner. Try double coating the mascara to achieve that dramatic look.

CHEEKS: highlight the cheekbone with shimmer; opt for blush tones that are orangey or peachy.

LIPS: Natural color that matches the original lips color is suggestive of this skin tone. Try adding a little gloss to give the lips a little plumpness.
